1.) Show me Pictures of these cars in the winners Circle.

Go look at race results and you'll see multiples of them in the top 10 of the A-Main. Google is a wonderful tool.

Okay this has become a ford vrs a Chevy argument, its all about what the driver wants, so it wouldn't really matter, this can get into what tires was on the cars that won because there better tires, or what after run oil's are used, stay on the subject of what Redcatracing was wanting, and I'm sure it wasn't arguing.

Not sure I like the new setup, the front shock brace looks flimsy, the pivot balls look like a weak point as well, I do however like the front upper and lower arms!
Most importantly, support support support, if there is a part on the r/c make it available to replace. Nothing worse than not being able to replace broken parts! Now Redcat has done a great job getting most the parts available to their customers, but there is still one part they don't have and no one there seems to respond to my emails! It is circled below!

Pivot balls a weak point???? They are much stronger than a C-hub design or design that is currently on the hurricane! They would be a great improvement.

Sorry for the delay on this reply, been a crazy month for us. Too many tradeshows and simply not enough time in the day to do everything.

We have put the PBS suspension on hold mainly due to the cost to make the mold so the PBS is plastic. When I first posted the info here, there was a lot of feedback on the aluminum.

I felt it did not make sense to spend the money on a new plastic mold when we are very close to making some major changes on the Hurricane anyway. Its about that time, to totally revamp that sucker and changing one thing that costs thousands of dollars did not make sense.

I can get the PBS suspension in aluminum and will order some next week. I expect it will take 40 days or so for us to have them in stock and no idea on pricing yet, but will let you know.

Darin

Are you talking about aluminum steering knuckles in PBS design??? What would you use for the pivot balls? Plastic balls?

The first post in this thread is what we can do. As you can see top and bottom front A Arms would be aluminum. There would not be a plastic option as the mold to make them in plastic is expensive.
