I think any one under 50 is considered a "Young Whipersnapper".

Over 50 and you are eligable for the OGC (Old Geezers Club).

At 60+ you can apply for the esteemed rank of "Old Fogie"!!

Mid June has been proposed for this major Smack event, but nothing is set in stone at this time.

Not sure if the Q-25 guys want to be embarassed again!!

Still waiting to see if the challenge is accepted.

Back when I played sand lot baseball, the team that didn’t show up lost by default. I think the same rule should apply here.

Since club 40 flies on a 400 ft course and Q-25 flies on a 450 ft. course, I think we should "split the difference" and use a 425 ft. course.

That way the "Young Whippersnappers" wont have so far to go to retrieve their aircraft when they go down in flames!

Well since I have both, what side do I join??? Q25 on 50% should do the trick . Or my LA Racer, and get in line with the rest of the sheep.

Oh i do have a question, how in the world can a C40 out turn a q25?

Looked like "The Sheep" sheared the barber last weekend!

Plain and simple - the club 40 planes out turn the Q-25 planes, though the q-25 does have a speed advantage in the straights. Makes it a pilots race and my money is on the OGC. they have the experience and know all the tricks!!

BTW - 15% fuel for all!

A Q-25 plane is simply a viper, predator or any other 424 legal airframe (all wood) with an OS 25 FX and an 8x6 prop.

Try your LHS or if they can't get them for some reason, try Tower.

Unfortunately, Tower is out of Vipers until late May. There's another thread on the Q500 forum about this. Maybe they'll fix the incidence problem w/ the new production run???

They haven't in the past 5 or so runs since they found out about it, so I'd bet they don't.
