Just competed in an IMAC event this week end with my new 50cc Wild Hare Sukhoi!

Loved it! It tracks beautifully and slows things down to let a newbie in basic IMAC time to think things out with no bad habits and lands easy, which helps when you are nervous!

Hammerheads are something I need to learn better but by the end of the comp I had an idea of what I needed to do to the SU-26 to make it pivot.

My 10yr son son is now certified on the Sukhoi so he will be competing in the next IMAC event with me.

Thanks for your help Tom and all the guys at Desert Aircraft Australia

Tom - Someone suggested I should baffle the cowl for the DA50 to cool it down, what's your thoughts?

Does it seem to be getting hot?

Unless you really enjoy tinkering, I always advise that you verify that you actually have a problem before you try to solve it.

Verify what is going on, measure cylinder head temps, etc. It is entirely possible that any change you install could make things worse, not better.

If it's working well now I'd leave it alone.
