i bought 3 Hitec HS-45HB sevos and 3 gear sets , just in case..... but i saw that the gear sets are without the first gear. isn't that the one that usually get stripped..... ? if so, what's the use of this gear set?

We've yet to see an HS-45 with a stripped gear. The output gear should not be the one that breaks in the unlikely event that you do damage one because of the huge amount of surface area. Mike.
