Status: offline 		Hi everyone, I have just bought a heap of Tamiya Custom Pack 7.2V 1300mA battery packs.

The manual states a 4-5 hour charge at 360mAh.

But where I live, about the only (Proper Ni-Cd 6 cell battery charger for 7.2V packs) charger available without doing mail order are ones that are rated at 9V 600mAh. I have 6 of these plugged into a power board, which is plugged into a digital timer, so I can charge 6 at once.

So my question is - based on these figures, what should correct full charge time be, in hours and minutes? I'd rather undercharge than overcharge.

Also I am not sure if a "standard charger" charges at 7.2V same as the pack, or whether it is normal for them to charge at a higher voltage?

Status: offline 		the rate is = to the capacity for 1 hr. At 600 if you charged 2 hrs would be almost full. It's a close guess.
