Thanks a lot for the attention given to my recent service need on several servos.
I don't believe your customer service can be surpassed by any other supplier.
Thanks a lot from a happy customer,

We aim to please!

While we are on the subject... does anyone else care to share any good (or bad) Hitec customer service stories?

Mike.

Very happy with your customer service.

Had a problem with the throttle (occasional mind of its own) on a Tx and had to send it in twice to get it repaired. Silly me, forgot to mention to you guys that the problem was intermittent.

All is well.

Fantastic service!!!!!!!!
All of my repairs have been because of crashes--every time I send the equipment in I give my credit card number and ask you to charge me.
So far I have not been charged, as a result of the good service I buy only Hitec servos and receivers.

The singular most important practice of the Hitec service department is the fact that posession of a receipt does not seem to be a major issue with them even for warranty work.

I cannot count the times I have been stiffed on legit warranty work merely because life is to short and to much flying time is wasted being a meticulous records keeper, Lets not even talk about those idiotic warranty registration cards (the only purpose of which is to provide free demographic info to the company) that have so often been used as an excuse by some companys. I have delt with most of the majors since Orbit and your service department has been the key to your success.

I only pray that success does not jade the decisions makers and a move is made with that success to become more like the others!

to make an long story short i have included a copy of my post from another thread of RCU.

My First crash (post # 21)

Heath,
Your story is an exact carbon copy of my story. Sounds like a defective switch harness to me. I too had installed all brand new Hi-Tech equipment on my brand new LT-40. Performed all the ground checks and everything was fine. Had the Instructor flying it, asked him to do a touch and go. He came onto base leg and the plane just kept turning in from 50'. Went spinner first into terra ferma. Total destruction. The plane looked an Monster truck backed over it. After the crash we had checked the Batt's with a voltmeter and they were fine as we had only been flying ten mins. Then we noticed that when you squeezed the switch, it cut out totally. I sent all the info, documention, letters of appeal and the like to Hi-Tech. They sent me a new switch. I was not an happy camper to say the least. My next radio won't be an Hi-Tech. So i bought another trainer and will get back in the air this summer to give it another go.

Grinder.

Thing is, it was my first plane, first flight, first experiance with R/C. I have heard of several others with Hitech switch harness problems. While i understand that once the switch leaves the property Hi-tech can no longer be responsible for what happens. Being 33 with a good job, i bought another trainer and will give it a go this yr. But what if my son had been flying for the first time and this happened to him? some first impression. I had sent the equipment in and it was fixed in accordance with their policy so no complaints there. But Hi-tech has to understand this R/C stuff is not cheap. So you can understand why i'm a bit bitter. Now i know i could have run double Rx's and batt's and switches but does a newbie green horn know this first time out? no. My knees were shaking bad enough and i wasn't even flying the plane. the ins. was and he felt bad enough, with his 20 yrs of flying R/C.

Grinder.

Hello Mike,
In most everything I buy, all else being close to equal, customer service will decide who I deal with. because of that, there is now one company that gets 99% of my RC radio money. HITEC!
I have on several occasions sent stuff to Hitec to have it repaired, and expected it to be at my cost, either because of age of product, or my own stupidity, and I have yet to get a bill.
Please just keep up the good work!

Hi Mike,
I bought 10 5625 Digitals last year and finaly got around to installing them in my 110 " Giles (Multiple on ailerons), To my dismay when I fired them up to set the throws, one turned hard left and died. The programmer can't find it although it did before when I reset the programming as per the directives. I am from Canada - is this thing still covered ? Where do I send it ? The other 9 took the reprogramming and seem to be just fine.

Thanks for your time !

Recently sent in a rx that went bad on the starting table(thank you god) . Traced it down to the rx which was three months old. Sent it back for repair and it was promptly returned with a new antenna wire. While setting up the plane with the rx it glitched again, this only happened when being on several mins. I once more called and explained the problem. I was told to return it and a new one was in the mail(which it was) I was sent a higher scale rx. I installed the crystal and guess what? , well I pulled a crystal from another rx , problem solved. Called Hitec and they advised to keep the new rx. Just bought another Hitec 6 ch that is very small and light weight, will continue my purchases with this company as they seem to aim to please.

I have not sent anything in to get serviced but...
I am very impressed with Mike's attention on-line.
For a company to care enough to have someone on-line to answer questions, that is impressive.
Thanks Hitec
Thanks Mike
