It's a Sig kit.

Open the box.
Insert bottle of glue.
Put the top back on the box.
Shake well.
Remove box top again.
Pour framed airplane out on bench.

Sig makes some of the easiest building kits I've ever seen.

Be thankful you didn't get my Rapture, Alex. I didn't get as many parts, but the sanding, shaping, and shimming was "FUN"!

Come on now... All that quality laser cut wood and interlocking parts, this thing will be together and flying in no time.

Alex,

Nice box of sticks you have got there!

You will do a good job with it, take your time and try to keep it as light as possible. The 60 size 4* will be a nice flying airplane when you get it done, and I am willing to bet you will have a better plane than any arf that you can buy, when you are done.

Regards,
Paul

When you finish, you will be happy you didn't get the bARF.

I've built two of the 4*60 and they are one of the fasest builds I've ever done. Every thing fits and you basicly put the section together, then glue it. If you have a straight building board, you are good to go.

Just a word of advise on it. Make sure you follow the instructions to the T. Don't build ahead of the step you are doing, even if it seems the next logical thing to do. There were a couple places that you could get in trouble by doing this, one was the lower wing center sheating. Follow the instructions.

One more piece of advise is to check the build threads on both the 4*60 and 4*40 for recomended beef up areas. IE the fuse just behind the wing and the Landing gear mount. Oh yes, one more thing, add a second outboard hinge on the ailerons in one rib bay from the tip. This is incase you later decide to clip the wings for a little better performance.

Have fun building. I know you will have fun flying it.

Don

Another kit builder - nice! Good luck on your build! Gonna be a real thrill to fly a plane you built yourself.

OK sorry for raising a panic i was just overwhelmed by the amount of sticks.

actually it falls in place like lego, no need even to keep 90 deg angle for the ribs they just being placed in the right angle.

first wing half on its way to be ready.

I built an uproar 60 last year and it was eeeeaaaaassssyyyy until I tried to figure out how to cover it. Shaping the leading edge wasn't bad but that is a lot of excess wood to plane off... I literally had the plane built in 5 days. It then sat for 8 months until I figured to heck with it and just started covering without a firm idea of how it was going to be in the end. It turned out fairly well. So the moral of the story is. Have an idea how to start but don't obsess over it when you start covering.

You made a common mistake... You looked at everything as one big pile of wood. It's like when you look in the cockpit of an airliner and see "All those switches and dials". Don't think of it as "All those switches and dials" think of it as, the radio on your car has its share of buttons, and you know what all of them do (Or at least what the important ones do). Now just imagine that you have 40 or 50 radios in your dash board and they all control different music.

So don't look at all of that wood as a whole, but rather, a bunch of sub assemblies.

Before you know it, you will be pulling the last bits of wood out of the box, and you'll be sorry it's over.

Or you'll be dreading the covering process. Either way, putting together the airframe is a lot of fun.

Way to go - looking great!

I know the feeling of flying something you built. You will love it!

Here's the link to my FourStar 40 Build Thread.

And here's the link to my FourStar 40 Maiden Report.

I know it may seem daunting to build, but in the end it will be very satisFLYing
