Yep same method as the wheels. If you want to go red, make sure whatever you get is white to begin with. You will be able to dye any colored plastic black, but will definitely need to be white to start with if you want any other colors. If I had tried to dye my yellow wing red, it would have come out orange.

i guess scarlet is red right?

for getting chrome off just get some sand paper and use some elbow grease!

Status: offline 		not really, the die goes into the plastic, i am sure if you scratch it real deep the original color will come up but it would have to be pretty deep.

Status: offline 		yeah if you gouge it or scratch it deep, the original color will show through. Any type of solvents (thinners, metho, acetone) wont affect it at all. I would think you would also have a hard time removing the color by sanding it too, so its pretty durable. Sections on mine are starting to show through now, but only where I have had big hits. Nothing a little black texta cant fix ....or a re-dye if you could be bothered.

yep looks like it after having a look at the Rit website color chart. Keep pulling it out to see how it looks. The longer you leave it in, the darker it will get. You can always keep going darker, but you cant make it lighter. Have the water quite hot, but not boiling and keep it at that temp until you're done.

Status: offline 		u can also buy the powered dye and it works the same and its cheaper. fyi if u have chrome wheels use easy off to take off the crome and they will be white. if anyone knows an easier way to take the crome off lmk

I'm using this chrome bumper as an example of how you can dye chrome

lol nooooo im not talking about dueing the wheel. im talking about yousing easyoff to clean the chrom off of my rims . rad a little closer next time

People use oven cleaner spray to take chrome off.

Status: offline 		but it works. me and my friend did it to our tmaxx and revo wheels and he dyed his rockers. i dont have pics but they looked good. im gunna do the same with my mini lst rims and my savage x rims. ill post pics of them when i do them

Status: offline 		you can dye the chrome? so if i had silver chrome wheels i can let them sit in blackk or blue dye and it will be blue chrome or black chrome? thats awsome if it works. the heat from the water doesnt cause the chrome to crack?
