It looks like David Payne's 40% Carden to me......
I was sure that I have seen that scheme before.
Look at the Carden website and look at the galleries section under the Yaks.
David use to live here in Chattanooga and took a job with Horizon Hobbies. One of the best pilots that I have had a chance to see.

Well that will look simply splendid setting at the Toledo booth, who will display this, Horizon or Carden? At least they picked something that hasn't been Barfed before, a 50cc Yak, Heck of an idea...Kinda like a I Love Lucy rerun..My bet they sell everyone of them

Ok here's some more info.

Wingspan 89"
fuse 84"

Prototype flew witha DA 50 and slimline pitts style muffler and is 17 pounds ready to fly. This yak is built the same way as the kit, foam wings, balsa trusses for the fuse etc. It's a replica of the carden kits in arf form. I would think that an airplane this size might be better with a DA 85 but we'll have to see. Don't quote me on this but I think the msrp will be $700.00

Price ? let's see their kits would average about $800. The labour for a kit at american prices (the average joes wages) $1200. That's about $2000 for a Carden ARF LOL. If it is $700 what does that say about the price of their kits. Somewhere someone's getting ripped off.

Nice plane though - I'd probably buy one.
