Status: offline 		I have an old AFP with the deluxe upgrade. The interface cable is a 9 pin serial port connector (for the old game controller port) and a DSC connection on the other end for JR. My new computer does not have a serial port or game port. What do I need to do to use the interface cable with a DX7 on my new computer?? Will buying a serial port card work? Or a game controller card.....or is it time for a new AFPD with USB connectivity?

Status: offline 		Hi Brad, I would recommend you to get the AFPD upgrade. Hobby Lobby should have stock of it in a couple of weeks. You could preorder. The part no is IK3021003 AEROFLY PRO DELUXE UPDATE. Pls also check the system requirements here http://www.aerofly.com/www/requirements.html

Status: offline 		Thanks Mark. I went to the Hobby Lobby website but did not find the part #. I emailed them though and will wait an answer. Can you explain what the upgrade contains and how it will function with my existing simulator? thanks,

Status: offline 		Hi Brad, HL is in a transition stage of taking over AFPD distribution, hence the delay. For the upgrade, you will have to ship your old AFP serial dongle to HL. You will receive the new AFPD with a usb dongle. You can find information on the features here http://www.aerofly.com/www/features.html
