I recently purchased a second A123 charger to charge more than 1 pack at a time when I'm out running. The charger would not work upon trying to charge with it. No lights at all. I contacted A123 support via email. Replies were fast. They asked me a few questions about the charger and what my power supply was. I gave them all the info they needed to which the reply was, I could either send it back for repair / replacement or, if I was handy with a soldering iron, I could try to fix it myself so I did not have to wait for shipping to and from. I chose the last option. They thought it was a loose wire inside. So they told me how to take it apart and sure enough the black input wire had come loose from the circuit board inside. I soldered it back in and the charger no had lights but was stuck in th error mode. I notified them and they said send it back. Today I received my new charger and everything works as it should. A123 took care of me without a hassle and were very timely with the emails and getting me a proper working charger. Great batteries and great support. What more could you ask for.
