Dashunde, I think most would be okay, except the lipo battery (fire hazard). You may want to call the security department at the Airport and double check. Here's there address and number. 2400 W Adams St Lincoln, NE 68524 (402) 458-2400 Dave / Choppersrule ===================================================================================== quote:
ORIGINAL: dashunde I've managed to get pretty good with a heli in G3.5; inverted hovers, all attitudes and so on... I know its far from "the real thing", but I think I'm ready for my first heli. (again) (I had a .30 size years ago, long before inverted flight was the norm.) I travel often, mostly flying commercial airlines, which puts rc planes out of reach. I'm thinking that a T-rex 450SE v2 would be a good time-burner while on "the road". I'd take spare parts, lipos, charger, balancer, tools... all in a nice aluminum case. I never check bags on domestic flights, and I would not want to start now... So my question is... Can you get through TSA security with lipo's, charger, radio, a heli and tools??
