If I were Xray i would at least offer the kit with threaded shock bodies. This would help the folks that don't want to convert to the 16mm biggies. The clip adjusters just don't say high quality kit. Thats the only grip I have with this kit. Other than that its by far the best kit I have owned. I understand they have to cut cost somewhere.

Received my extra parts today so I should be good incase of an extreme crash. My LHS carries nothing for the Xray at this time but they tell me they can get what ever I need unless it on race day then I'm "SOL" So I ordered all the stuff I thought I might could brake, about $100 worth I'd say. I got the aluminum front brace as well. I'll be getting the 2 peice motor mt. next week. My LHS told me they were getting some stuff for it, but its just not arrived yet.

Here`s my body for the XT8, it is the original one from amainhobbies! Rekward Tuning, done by Andy Waddel.

Have installed the Kyosho bigbores, but can not quite dial them right. Have used the lime springs and 30wt oil, now I`m going to test 50wt oil and blue spring with some extra
spacers. Seems more right. When I first tested them, I had the Thrax tires on, they seems to grip poorly..

I saw the video of the modded Jammin 21JPX engine from 2DMaxLST, wow!
Is it important to mod an engine when it is new or is it ok with a used one?
