Is anyone familiar with how many actual days Mato takes to process an order? I know the website says within two days but since I've placed my order the week before they re-stocked on the new HLs, my order information still says "pending" every time I log onto their website...

I believe they re-stocked on March 10th, two days have passed and still nothing...

I've ordered a Panzer IV as well, via Paypal. Haven't heard anything yet but I am quite sure we'll be told something soon. They let you know by email when they've shipped it and provide you with a Tracking Number. I'll let you know when I hear something.

I wouldn't worry too much --I've bought THREE Tanks from Mato so far and have never had a problem with them. Just received my KT from them yesterday, in fact. And IT came from China, Not the Warehouse in Ontario !

this is how much it would cost me to make a sturdy tank:

tank=120
tamiya gear box or Lous =200
metal tracks=100
all metal wheels and sprocket=80
electronics =300
receiverand crystal = 100

Sum up= appx 900$... = 850 US. Not bad pal, just hoping Tamiya would do one too

OR... keep the HL metal gears, S&S board and get metal tracks... WOW, under $200 easy...

Hi Wacky,

Now what little HL fact did you leave out?

It still won't run good no matter how well you've rewired it. And the Mean Time To Failure is bleak.

Best solution for any HL that you do not want to convert to Tamiya DMD f/O is to just paint it nice AND use it as a static battlefield prop.

Take Care.
