...I like Newcastle! Hehehe My girl went away for the weekend for Boy scout leader training. I could write freely without her breathing down the back of my neck and/or hammering me to get off the computer and get to bed....This would explain the lengthy, novel type entry for (possibly)fixing the gyro. Even if I went over board, I am sure it can help others start from scratch with the DX's...

Peace,

Z

p.s. Where in Cali do you reside?

Do you use the Auto sense gyro mode or Manual.

DX6i does not have this option to choose from. I am sorry!
...Hey, did you watch the Finless video on Telebee gyro set-up? If not, it is a great little vid/tool to help with creep and settings...You will have to go to Helifreak and find it in the Finless section...I recommend it to everyone that is unfamiliar with Gyro's.

Still waiting on my freebies... Anyone know of a way to check if they are going to honor your mail-in's?

So, what was the exact number of days, weeks, years that your freebie took to arrive on your doorstep counting from the day you mailed in the rebate form? Also, you were not counting the receiver that came in the box with the radio for a qualifying freebie were you? Those do not count...Hehehe

I have been waiting for 3 weeks and 4 days....As of 06/03/08

i need some help. i am running out of room on my receiver for more servos.
The Gear channel is the only one left. i need to use it but i dont know how to turn the switch off.
If i have a servo plugged into the gear channel, it moves when i flick the switch.
Can anyone tell me how to stop this?

Thanks

You need to tell us what you are configuring. This channel is normally reserved for turning a Gyros mode from Rate to HH. If you are flying planes, it would be to lower and raise landing gear. You could do other things with the channel but you are not going to be able to assign a stick function to it if that is what you are trying to do?? Unless you take apart the radio, but then you would render some other function on the switch ...The DX6i is just what the number says, a 6 channel radio.

Please give us some more info..

Peace,

Z
