Status: offline 		Ive been looking online for the best drift car and i heard that the ta03 was the best.So does anybody know where online i can buy a ta03 other than ebay???

Status: offline 		Correct the TA03 in general was banned from the D1UK series I believe. Or it might of been the D1 in Japan. I can't remember.

They are a very odd chassis to try and use. Completely different then the normal chassis out there now. But then again very fun to drive. Since I own two of them. I had a buddy from Socal a member of Groovy Drift drive my TA03F and ask me how do you do so well it with it. I'm not going to lie its not easy to drift it. But thats the fun and enjoyment of owing and driving it.

Status: offline 		Not easy to drift??? Wow man you might need to work on your setup then.

I find the TA03F perfect for tight technical tracks with lots of transitions. I pretty much just control the drift with the throttle and give very little steering input.

For a fast, big track they arent the best choice I agree.

Status: offline 		They aren't hard for me to drift. But if you going to one from a regular chassis it might be then harder to get used to drifting it. I've been drifting my 03F for like 3 years now. So i'm used to it.

Status: offline 		Ah ok. Yeah I totaly agree with you there. They do handle very different to a modern day chassis but then thats what makes them so nice to use in my opinion.

Status: offline 		The TA-03F is rated as the Best Technical Drifter you can get...


There set up about as close to a real Drifter as possible, the Motor is mounted at the front, providing nice, weight over the front steering wheels for added control..

Thing is...
They have a few done sides...

Having the Motor mounted pretty much on the front bumper they are suseptable to serious front end damage in a hard collision.
Parts are getting unbelievably hard to track down.. with most guys prefering to shelf queen rather then actually use, but who can blame them.. there cool to look at.

And Yes..
They have been banned in most Professional RC Drifting comps as being a Brilliant Technical Drifter, it is almost considered cheating..
If you had a TA-03F, you were pretty much untouchable by any other standard Drifter...
