Hi Di n Dave,
Thats good news on your Tigercat,it's a shame they sold the one up at Duxford,I never did see it fly . No probs for the brazing, just let me know what you wat doing. How is Arron getting on with the P51,were the plans any good that I dropped off at the WF.
I spoke with Mike S yesterday, he has turned out another few birds and is testing out his new Raptor which he is hoping to take to Colt,Mike is going to need to get a Truck to move his Airfoce arround .
Off down to the work shop now for some more riveting on the last boom!!!!!!

Hi Skul,
Sorry I missed your post, the Cessena 195 colour scheme looks great. Skul, the best way I have found in using the Mira chrome is doing all your other colours first along with any lettering, then mask all that off then apply the Mirra chrome, the reson for this is that if you use a strong masking tape over the Mira chrome it will leave a slight residue on the chrome, even the low tack tapes might leave a residue,so I think it is not worth the risk as I have found out to my own expence .

Graham, what sort of primer would be best? Should I spray the colors over the black base coat, that goes under the chrome? Thank you so much for your advise, painitng is by far my weakest skill, in building aircraft. So far I've been lucky in building approx 10 aircraft, this is the first one I will have to paint.

Hi Skull,
Yes you could spray the red over the black, you would also get a good tone on the red buy doing this,Skull do a test peice on somthing else and in the same sequence you are going to do the Cessena 195,then you can see what you think is best for you. Just remeber to get that surface blemish free!!!!.
Hi Enry, and thank you very much. I will get some pics on the flaps, but they are not the follower flaps,I will do all that on the bigger 125" kit
Got the the 38 out today as it was not raining all day I was just checking the fit on Darrells Gear, and yes, tucked away first time and no messing about, retract time was also very good, the only thing was the sit,I think it might just be to high at the back end, should bo ok though,I will just add a bit of flap on take off to get her un stuck. I will also tuch up some of the panels as they are just a bit too blue in some places, but she is starting to come togeather

Yes sir Mr. Graham! I spent all day yesterday just working on the stabs, to get them ready to glass, and then at 23:00 I laid-up my first glass. This is the first 1/4 scale plane I'm building for a customer, and it's going to be my calling card for more large scale work, so I want it perfect. Here's a pic of the glass I laid last night, from the pic I cant tell there's even glass on it, I hope that's a good thing. Graham if you ever, come to the U.S., and make it to Texas, let me know, and I'll buy, at least lunch, and even a drink or three.

Hi Enry,
No ,this one is the Ziroli tester ,and yes the bigger one is from Andreas which will be highly modified to suit the new DA 80'S .
Here are some pics of the bigger one,and Darrells gear fits perfect, just need some bigger wheels. Saying all that if the Ziroli flys ok I might sell this bigger one with the gear,as the XXL Corsair is got to be finished off for the Summer, can't wait to hear both MG Cannons firing off
