Where do you guys get the header you're using on the OS 160? How do you couple it to the beer can? I'm considering replacing my YS 110 with it. Will need the header tank?

hey suitcase good to hear from you. Mac's make the header, your local hobby shop should be able to get it. you need the long header. mac's also makes the rubber header coupler and you can order it the same time. if you can't find it drop me a PM and i wll see if i can help you get what you need.
the header tank is a big help if you spend a lot of tim with the nose up. it make it easyier for the fuel to get to the engine. i always use one on spoilers and big boys.

The silcone coupler that hooks the can to the header came with my Mac's header. No need to buy another one.....

man that was two great days of flying and hanging out with good friends at Murry Ky's fly-in. we did candy drops for the kids with the spoilers/bigboys and the kids of all ages loved it. there was several people going home to make repairs from the hard flying that was going on and doug will have his big boy flying in no time.
i hope there will be more pics and maybe a video or two.

RVator did that to mine a year or more ago. The G26 died (gee was I surprised) and he didn't make it back to the field. Tore the gear block out and the firewall. I shortened the front an inch and put a thicker firewall in. I took mine plus two electrics to our field Sat. but the farmer was rolling hay bales. I flew my elec. and went home. We're headed for NagsHead tomorrow and are taking our elecs. Hope the wind isn't too bad to fly. I think, maybe early morning or late evening we might get some air time.
Still waiting for some word on the Spoilers. How about plans for one. Who has 'em?

hey suitcase, doug pulled his BB up into a houver and the engine died. he was just high enough off of the ground to get the nose down but couldn't flair it before it ate dirt.
the arfs still look to be a few months away and i don't know of any plans. someone has to have a set of plans to sell out there so keep asking around.
