Hey Bubba

Still working on that and some others. I didn't think to tell yall to come fly with us here Sunday afternoon, I had to rush off to do some things for a b-day party but had a good time Saturday at the airport.

Well we knew that we were invited without you having to say anything. I tried to call David Sat. afternoon and nitght but his phone was out, so he called me Sunday morning 8:00am and said that he was on his way to eat and go fly. By the time the afternoon came we were too wore out to come over and fly. Looks like yall had a good time Sunday too. I think that you were getting close Saturday on the manuvere, let me know when you get it and are ready to teach me.

Ramflyer, chris has not been talking much and the last time i talked to him he had the prototypes but had not built and tested them yet but that was a few weeks ago. i don't know if he watches this thread but if so we all would like a update.
as far as my golf game i used to play ok shooting in the low 80's on good days but that was a few years ago. shoulder and knee surgery and 50 lbs later not so good

Here you go randy, though the treadmill song would be appropriate after yesterday.

i don't know of any other delta wing arfs and the outlaw would be hard to beat. it has good slow flight stability and will haul a$$ when needed. you should post that question on the extreme speed prop planes forum here on RCU, those guys will know what is out there and how it performs.

Ok, I've not been paying much attention lately. I discovered Geocaching last year and haven't been flying much. Oh The Shame

Soooo.. Here I was at a fly-in today in Casper Wyoming and saw a plane which reminded me of the big 80 inch profile that was on the Morris Hobbies website. Does anyone know what that plane was? I guess the Morris site is down or something.

I flew the Big Boy and ripped off the gear. I guess it was mad at me for not paying attention to it. It's all fixed and I'm headed to Casper again tomorrow.

What is the status on the Spoiler Arf?? Anyone know? I'll be calling East RC Monday and reserving one if all goes well.

Happy 4th!

you have to watch those big boys, they fly real nice but if you don't treat them right they will get even. haha!
you need to stop looking for treasure and start burning fuel in your planes for sure.

no word yet on the spoiler arfs as far as i know.

ohio model products (OMP) has a sweet flying 67" profile arf called the fuzion that i have flown and loved find it here http://www.ohiomodelplanes.com/comersus/store/comersus_listItems.asp?idCategory=39
and they also make a 80 inch kit that should be a sweet flying plane and i would have one if i was a builder.

Hi guys,

Been off the web lately, but I have a few pics taken at my airfield about a week and a half ago. Pics below are at my place. The planes are mine and one of Spoilerman's planes. Note Spoilermans interest in the current hay market. Also, At Symsonia International we are a little cheap when it comes to wind detection so Bill F. filled that position as needed.

Also, Bill F. was demonstrating high speed passes with his electric which was very fast... In fact it was so fast that at one end of the runway the tail feathers decided it was too fast and departed from the plane. The plane actually made almost the length of the runway before deciding it did not want to fly without a tail stab and made a smoldering hole. The battery was found about 150 feet from the crash site... In fact I think we should now refer to Bill F. as Smoldering Hole... He was a good sport about though, probably better than I would've been.

Since I FINALLY got decent engines on the BB and Balsa Nova they've become the best planes at the field. I
ll never got back to the cheap stuff. Experamenting with props now.

Thanks for the info on the pofiles and the Spoiler. Haven't had time to reserve a Spoiler yet but I will.

looks like you guys had some fun down at wild crashes place.
Mr. Clapp repaired my spoiler and i started covering the repaired areas last night so maybe i will be flying a spoiler soon. it won't be a pretty as it was when tim g finished it the first time but it should still fly great like a spoiler should.
