They are going to try to bring them in under $200.

I hope you're right Mike but, the Spoiler is a lot of plane for under $200 if it is built good.

Hey wild crazy Bill, where have you been? We have been flying at the Benton field for the last 2 weekends. Grass is growing good and the runway is smooth. Haven't had my spoiler out lately mostly flying the gasers. C/G on my spoiler runs in the 7in area but that may be a little tail heavy for some people. Hope to see you soon. Kenny

Hey Spoilerman,

I was just thinking of calling you to check condition of the new runway. I'm glad it is in service. I'll chk in with you to see what day you'll be out there. Had I known it was ready Mike and I would have been there last weekend. I'll plan on this weekend if you and our other pals are there. Wanted to have a scale plane ready for the Paducah event but did'nt make it. I was in Owensboro today and will be in Campbellsville tomorrow. Back in Symsonia by late tomorrow night though and I will be ready to fly My Spoiler at Benton.

Bill

Bill,
EastRC has a Preorder list for the Spoiler, as I'm sure you know and Brandon at East RC emailed me and said that they would be "around $200, maybe a little less"., So it's not written in stone but that's a pretty affordable neighborhood!!
No timeframe but I'm guessing Nov or Dec.
Happy Flying.

Mike,

Man that's great. I can't build one from scratch for that. Man these ARFs are making us builders extinct. Naaaa... I like to build for the fun of building eventhough in the long run it cost more now days. Seriously though, that is a great price and probably much better quality than I have the patience to do building. I tend to get in a hurry when nearing completion on a project.

Paducah Ky's club put on a demo day yesterday and we had a great turn out. it was set up to let people in the community see what it is we do there. we have one of the best RC runways i have ever flown off of, two control line circles, and a area for free flight. we had demonstations on all three, two simulaters set up for new people to try, and gave away balsa gliders to the kids. the Union City guys came over to do RC demos as well a several other friends, (prop nut, doug g, timg, nogyro, huckin hatley and way to many to list). after the demo was finished aprox 1:00 we just had a fly-in till we were to tired to fly. i hope that some video will be posted here soon.

i flew my rebuilt spoiler several flights and it is doing fine so life is good again. it was a long few weeks while it was down from the crash.

that was Laney( Huckin ) Hatley with his com arf, he always puts on a great show. the lawn mower belongs to Don and i can't remember his last name but put on a good show with 4 different planes i think.
the ultimate was propnut, the big boy was doug, and the 36% edge was nogyro.
keep the vids coming guys
