Guys,

Here's the link to the Spektrum module for the Futaba transmitters that we were talking about at the Paducah Fly-In today.
http://www.donalds-hobby.com/prod/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=42681

Here's a link for the AR7000 receiver like I use in my Edge. http://www.donalds-hobby.com/prod/scripts/prodView.asp?idProduct=42210

The only other thing you might consider getting is a longer cord for the satellite receiver. I think the one that comes with the AR7000 is 6 inches long. Here's the link for a 12" cord. http://www.donalds-hobby.com/prod/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=42218

LOL, yep, good thing Jim was there to save my butt! I never would have figured it out.

Yep, you get the antenna for the transmitter and a bind plug as well along with one AR7000 receiver with the Module

I think your XYZ engine will be a good one after it gets broke in a bit more.

Hey, I almost got it for two hamburgers and a bag of chips. I believe the only reason that deal fell through was because he saw me drop one of the hamburgers.

one of jims's steaks would almost be worth the edge. haha!

we had a great time at our Paducah Ky fly-in this weekend, we had a bunch of good people come out to fly and help raise money for a very good charity. 1559.00 was raised to help pay for a prosthesis leg for one of our members. it won't pay the total bill but it was a good start.
special thanks to Mr Mark Trent from St Louis MO for coming down and giving us a wonderful show with his Budweiser Yak. that dude can fly a airplane for sure!!
many of the regulars on this thread showed up too and added to the fun and flavor of the weekend and you guys know who you are. thanks so much

Randy and the gang from Paducah,

Glad to hear you were able to raise that much money for Daniel. I was glad to be a part of it....

I just saw the video that Darrin took of the Pride and Joys. No problem hearing J.S. hitting RR.

Hey Greg. I saw that you put a tach on the XYZ engine. What kind of numbers did you end up with? Was it soooo bad that you had to let your had block the view of the video camera?

Enjoyed the Paducah fly-in. Thanks Randy for the welcome mat and the great fellowship. The weather was great, the flying was great, the food was great, and the people were great. Only one really bad loss of Tom Boulnois Pup bi-plane. I'm sure he will come up with something impressive by next spring. Thanks again Randy, Tim and the other Paducah club members for a wonderful week end.
