Welcome, What I’m trying to do is get people from north and mid Delaware together to form a small club. We can share ideas and even schedule our own weekend bashes and races. i figure we can get 1/10, 1/8 scales gas and electric buggies and trucks together. Incase you didnt know there is a great hobby shop in Newport called Gforce hobbies, Inc. There web site is G-Force Hobbies and there phone is 302-995-9035. The local race track is Blue diamond it is located just off of rt 13 near the rt 13 rt 1 spit. I live right on the border of Maryland and Delaware "Elkton" area and would love to get together with some pepole and do some bashing & Racing . I got a nitro 1/10 scale truggy and a 3.3 T - Maxx that I just pulled out the box and broke the motor in on so any one from baltimore to philly holla at me. Also any one that has info about that Blue dimond track like when it's open and do they got a nite for practice e -mail me with the info

Cool bob, i used to live in Elkton. great place... the BLUE DIAMOND track should be open the 2nd week in april. there is two days for practice i think its tues and thurs. but not sure 100%. saturdays is the offroad race and i think sign in is at 9 am and qualifiers is at 10. but this is all guesses right now. the track is being rebuilt so there may be a delay in the opening. visit gforce hobbies to see the 2008 schedule when its posted. here is the link: 2008 SCHEDULE also here is the link to blue diamond: BLUEDIAMOND keep in touch. and pm me anytime. i will be working most weekends until race time but if i do have a weekend that is free ill pm you and others to get together. thanks

wow, i didn't know there was something like this going on. i live right outside of elkton, md. i may have to stop by your track and check it out. i know right where it is, and i have been in g-force before. thanks for posting and let us know. i hope to see you this summer.

gamebeer, its not my track, but thanks. John the owner of Gforce and blue diamond run it. this will be my first time at blue diamond. but its some what the same as the rest of the tracks around just closer. :-) i run a savage x 4.6 and i am looking for others to be on a on a team so we have a pit crew while the racers are running the trucks. we need one pit man for every racer. we can have 1/10 and 1/8 trucks truggys and buggies. there is an on road course too. but they run on Sundays. YOU WILL NEED A transponder. contact gforce to buy one 100.00 bucks. that is actual cost he doesn’t make any money off of them. or you can rent them at the track. i just bought mine because i heard there was shortages last year. the transponder is what counts the track laps. So if anyone is interested in joining up with me so we have a small team. and i mean team as a group of independent racers to help with: pit work (we all have to swap out the pit work) (track rules we must have a pit man for a driver) repairs (i love doing repairs hint hint) basic help to the newer people (team work) turn marshaling (every driver has to do marshaling after his or her race) track rules we may just make a east cost rc club of some kind depending on how many people we get together. i would also like to get a bashing day in on a weekend with high jumps and such at the levys.
