ROFLMAO @ Integra, Yeah, Hudy and Integy are the same Come on guys, the Hudy set is obviously top notch. I just dont understand why people will spend $800 on a truggy, $400 on a radio, etc, then try to save $50 on a set of tools.

Same here... call me cheap, but I can't see spending a ton of money on hex keys with a handle. I've been using Integy tools for over a year now and they are just fine. Maybe I've just been lucky... LOL... I have 3 CRT.5s and a Losi 8ight T so yes, the tools get plenty of use. I also use Craftsman as I like their quality and I can return then without question at any Sears store across the US. When a screw or nut starts to show signs of wear I simply replace it... I rather have a ton of spare screws than spend hundreds of dollars on hex keys. I typically replace the ones on the bottom of the chassis after each race weekend as those are usually the ones that are abused the most.

Sorry, but I haveta agree with Jay

How can you have a truck with so much invested in it, but not invest in what you NEED to keep it in running condition.!?

I have NO idea of how reliable/good/amazing/crappy Integy tools are, but I do know about Thunder Tiger and Hudy.

The TT's are fine, I keep them in my Pit box, my Hudy's NEVER leave the house. IMO Those two tools ARE fantastic. And Id drop another $200 if I had to on them because they're QUALITY and I want quality products for my truck.

My opinion tho, disregaed at your own will...

Integra, yes, I have absolutely no problem dropping $200 on quality tools. ( Maybe its because for a number of years I was a carpenter and learned that quality tools make life a lot easier, especially when your pay is depending on those tools) The way I see it is I buy these for $200 ; now I have over $1k invested in my two trucks, radios, etc , so in comparison its not that much. Plus the nice thing about these tools are they are universal !!!! They will work on a 2mm allen head on anything from a Nikko to a full blown XRay Besides, when you maintain your vehicles as I do, they will definately get their fair share of use.

i brought a set of RD Logics for $40 last year in the winter.. i think. It came with 1.5, 2, 2.5, and 3. they been very good so far.. all except the 1.5mm which i brokeonce and replaced the tip like 3 months ago. But i used hudy tools several times from friends and i can definatly see a difference over the $40 set i have, but still i havent had problems from the RD logics that i can really complain much about. But if you have the money, buy the hudy hex drivers... you pay for more than the name in this case. IMO

Are you kidding me?? Are you like literally. Whatever you say is totally stupid and retarded. I am being 100% serious here, and I am sure like 98% of the forum stands behind me in this. If the damn hex is not as hex as it can be and of a softer metal it will definitely be a crappier tool. Don't give me this **** that a $5 tool is the same as a $200 tool. STFU. Someone close this thread this guy won't give the **** up!

You get what you pay for. More expensive tools are more expensive because they use better and more expensive materials and will last longer than somthing made with cheaper materials and less strenght. Every tool is not the same. I been using the Duratrax set that cost $119 and only have had to replace a couple of tips here and there. I would like to get another set to keep at home, maybe the Hudy or the EDS racing products tool set looks nice. My friend has the Integy set and they a POS. A good tool set and a good set of aftermarket screws are some of the best upgrades you can buy.
