Status: online 		The only problem with posting tach readings is that quite often people don't mention the numerous other factors which affect RPMs.

Prop brand, nitro %, altitude, temperature, humidity, oil percentage, oil type, etc.

For example, my TT46Pro will turn a 12x4 prop at anywhere from 13,000 RPMs to 14,400 RPMs depending on a variety of those factors.

Even using an APC12x4 and fuel with 5% nitro I can get a 600RPM difference simply by changing the type/percentage of oil and depending on whether it's a hot or a cold day.

To be meaningful, these figures have to include all the variables without that they're of little value.
