Hello All,

I just wanted to let those who may be interested know that a new club is forming for casual RC fans in the San Francisco Bay Area. To check it out, please visit this site:

http://www.baprcc.info

If you have any questions or would like to join contact bayarearc@gmail.com

Bay Area Peninsula RC car club was created in February 2008 as a way of bringing together as many local RC enthusiasts as possible. Any type of RC enthusiast and car is welcome. We are currently looking for new members and would like to begin the search for places to meet, share tips, and most importantly, drive

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Yeah, I saw that...so did anyone actually organize anything within those 72 pages? We are running some 1/18th, but are open to all RC cars/scales.

It's good to hear that there are options out there for people. Our club hopes to be able to gather information from all the clubs and distribute it out to those interested, so people are aware of all the events going on.

There seem to have been a lot of groups who meet up for awhile, and then disappear over time (which is understandable). Our goal is to keep the club pretty informal at first, focusing on being a grass-roots organization that emphasizes community and driving...and just keep it going year-round.

its not so much that. its just people start to do more competitive racing. i don't think they ever really disappear... just take breaks.

Woke up early Saturday morning and headed over to a local spot for a little off roading with a few of the guys. The weather was awesome and we got some good bashing runs in. We will definitely be heading back out for some more fun....

Posted the pics, but they are huge, so will just submit a link:

Nobody in the group currently has a mini, but that said, we love just about everything RC, so i'm pretty sure it's just a matter of time before at least one of us gets sucked into it. "Digitalflyer" is a member of this site and our club...i'm not sure if anyone else is though. For whatever reason, a few of us have gotten into 1/18 scale lately (even though for most of us 1/10 is the true love). Your Vendetta would make a welcome addition to the family for sure...
