I am looking for servos for the E-flite 260 3D 480 Arf. The flying weight of the plane is between 26-29oz. and it will be powered by a 480 Brushless outrunner motor. Will the HS-55 servos be enough for all the control services? E-flite says you can use their S75 servo on the flight controls and Chief Aircraft sells a combo with the plane and 4 HS-55 servos. Here is a link to the airplane.

Thanks,
Tony

Sure, but I'd highly recommend you step up to the HS-65's to get the most out of the model.

Mike.

Thanks for the reply. Will that size plane strip out those servos? What do you mean by getting the most out of the model?

No, either servo would hold up fine in the air but the 65's are much tougher than the 55's come crash time!

The 65's are just a much more precise and powerful servo which will allow the the airplane to perform as well as it possibly can. The 65's are simply the right tool for this particular job. The 55's will work but the 65's will work much better. It's like tearing a wall down with a claw hammer... yes it will work but a 20lb sledge will work much better!!!
