Hi, I have as far as I can tell an early 80's Top Flight P-51 Mustang Kit that was my dads. The box has a red border around it. He had started it and never finished it. When he passed away we put all of his things away, and I have recently started working on it again. I was wanting to find out if any one has any kind of info on this kit at all. I only have 1 sheet for the plans on the sheet is RC-16-2. Is there any other pages I need to finish it? Any info would be helpful.

Sorry, but you're in the wrong forum. Try "warbirds" or scale or kits. Combat is for a form of RC Competition, not for building models of warbirds.

(fwiw, I think I had that kit years ago. But I don't recall the plans. It was pretty straight forward, with a TON of sanding and shaping of big blocks of balsa though. Almost "balsa log, sand to airplane shape" in places).

That kit is what is called the "Red Box" version, I have the kit, I will look at it when I get home and answer your question tonight...

I do beleive that Top Flite offers reprints of the plans on their website but I do not think the manuals (if any) are listed.

Montague is right about this question should have been asked in the "Warbirds Forum" this forum is for combat flers....
