Well, I don't see how it relates to to eating crow, but I do have an appreciation for a magnificent model airplane, and the product of Jeff's effort is just that. I was fortunate enough to attend the Scalemasters event in Hemet, and If I were judging, Jeff had it hands down.

What this thread needs is a pic of Jeff holding the magazine

My current issue shows a painting of an R/C model from days gone by. Please give the issue's date so we can enjoy this information. Obviusly it was before the current issue!

P-51B,

More importantly would be the second question..... "I wonder how it tastes???"

My guess would be like chicken, or maybe turkey. But alas, what does it have to do with AMA Discussions?

I can see the AMA connection.... it is MA after all.
This is probably just the kind of Good News Threads we need more of in this forum to beak up the doom & gloom threads.

The man made the cover of the AMA magazine with his work,
the least we can do is give him a Way To Go for one thread.
Its not like it happens more than 12 or 13 times a year anyway, let the guy have his full 15 minutes in the limelight.

KE,
You make great points and I can't agree more with your post and giving anyone their 15 mins or bringing some positive to these discussion threads. The opening post of this would of done just that without bringing up the "eating crow" and "wonder how it tastes" crap.

Yeah, that was a little... overzealous in announcing Jeffs cover.

But how many times do we get a good "YEEE HAW" around here anyways.

Ok, I am a bit confused.

I went a looked at the cover in question. There was a nice Storch on it built by someone other than Jeff Weiss. Waaaaay in the background and cut-off on the left side of the cover photo was part of an Fw-190 that was possibley Mr. Weiss's based on captions on photos inside the actual magazine.

Seems to me that someone else got the cover shot. Anyway, I still don't understand who would be eating crow, or why, and now I am wondering if the 15 minutes of fame should only be 15 seconds since the storch is on the cover and not Mr. Weiss's plane.

But, but.....but 'Stang. That's no garden variety FW, it is the masterwork of Kurt Tank to transform it into the best fighter of WWII.

Please, it's Ta 152. Oh.......there was a Storch on the cover too?
