Hi brian, the mha refer to battery capacity, one rating 1200mha will have a much higher/longer lasting than a 50mha. The number of cells will give you the voltage you need, only need to multiply by the number of cells. Our radio rechargable batts are 1.2v (niCads or NImetal) Most of today´s rx units will handle 6v no problems, I only use 6v on my planes, and usually like the 1250 - 1500 mha range that gives good flight time and ok weight in my set up.
