i have this plane, it flys great, but i think it is a little fast for a beginner. it's pretty slick even for a rudder-only (no aileron) plane. i learned on the hobbyzone supercub (search this forum......there is tons of information about this plane!) and bought the cub you want as my second plane, which i thought was a good move. it is much easier to repair the supercub, and repair you will! pretty sure most on this forum will agree with my thoughts on this.........get the supercub first! good luck........rob

I am new to RC flight, and I bought this airplane. Before trying to fly it I spent time on an RC flight simulator. I like the plane a lot. I have crashed it seriosly twice but resurrected it each time. Since it is a small airplane, it is very sensitive to turbulence, and flying it in anything more than 5 mph of wind can be very tricky (see crashes above).

It sounds like the larger Supercub is a much better trainer from what I've read on the forums.

Good luck!
