Lomcevak Duck -> RE: Muffler bearings problem, please help!!! (8/4/2008 2:58:16 AM)

I've fixed my muffler bearings, but I tripped and dumped the prop wash all over the place.

Wouldn't have happened if I hadn't bough that left handed light switch.

victorzamora -> RE: Muffler bearings problem, please help!!! (8/4/2008 3:03:36 AM)

Lomcevak Duck, I hit Alt+F4 and nothing happened!! That may be because I'm on a Mac though [:D].

Lomcevak Duck -> RE: Muffler bearings problem, please help!!! (8/4/2008 3:04:45 AM)

You cheated!

I wonder how many people have actually done it with a PC.

It's the same in your later 20's as well[:D]. I'm sure it's going to stick with us for the rest of our lives.

Wild Foamy -> RE: Muffler bearings problem, please help!!! (8/5/2008 6:58:26 PM)

reminds me of my old IT lessons when we used to make cracks about the 3 1/2" Floppy Disk drive.

only we would "mis-spell" the Disk... by accident of corse :P

victorzamora -> RE: Muffler bearings problem, please help!!! (8/5/2008 9:22:23 PM)

I'm convinced that we, as guys, grow old...but we don't grow up.

Ron Olson -> RE: Muffler bearings problem, please help!!! (9/7/2008 5:28:14 AM)

When you guys are ready to move up, try a set of roller-rocker muffler bearings and you won't be sorry!
For the airplane crowd I'm working on an electric chicken stick either panel ready or to plug into your car's cigarette lighter.

I found some light oil at work and trying to figure out if it's for flourescent or incandescent bulbs. Any help?

saucerguy -> RE: Muffler bearings problem, please help!!! (9/7/2008 6:07:46 AM)

Just when I thought I was on top of things, someone has to show up with the latest and greatest making mine obsolete. I talked to the vp of 3m of whom we all know is the largest muffler bearing manufacturer in the industry about that this morning, he told me it has been on the market for over a year, geesh....

Light oil, that's hard to come by these days, you are a lucky man!!!

victorzamora -> RE: Muffler bearings problem, please help!!! (9/8/2008 1:16:51 AM)

You can actually get light oil, between the pipe-stretcher and balsa-shrinker. I've got something that's REALLY hard to find. I have a switch on my LG that cuts off my motor if I have a rough landing.

An electric chicken stick I could go for! I'd trade some high-altitude bearing seals for that!

JollyPopper -> RE: Muffler bearings problem, please help!!! (9/8/2008 7:29:00 PM)

If you guys will set your Johnson Valves to go off between 1:15 and 1:16am GMT, your muffler bearings will last forever, if not indefinitely.

larryf333 -> RE: Muffler bearings problem, please help!!! (9/15/2008 7:08:06 PM)

I like going to the restaurant and ordering a grilled cheese sandwich, hold the bread. Heehee [:D]

Oooohh, hehe, I can be kind of a stinker in a restaurant. You know when the hostess always asks you how many are in your party, especially when clearly, it's just two people? I've thrown many of them totally off guard when I blurted out 40, lol. They are immediately shocked, lol.

My latest one, we ordered something at Mc Donalds drive through, at the end of the order I told them that it was for here. You'll get some funny reactions with that one as well :)

Try ordering a salad minus the lettuce. lol....[:)]

foodstick -> RE: Muffler bearings problem, please help!!! (10/1/2008 2:51:57 AM)

I've got mine working well...

ssrc30 -> RE: Muffler bearings problem, please help!!! (10/1/2008 3:08:30 AM)

lol well done[:)]

saucerguy -> RE: Muffler bearings problem, please help!!! (10/1/2008 5:16:01 AM)

Warning!!!
ssrc30, foodstick have been dooping on all of the major boards selling their own muffler bearings which are a cheap knock off of the ones RCU endorses. I even had a few samples sent to me for field testing and they simply did not stand up to the viscal elemental factors.

I've done insanely high numbers to the hostesses before.

But going to the drive through to eat in is the best idea I've seen in a while! Next time out i'm going to do this one LMAO

larryf333 -> RE: Muffler bearings problem, please help!!! (10/1/2008 5:51:24 PM)

I've done the high numbers of people as well. It's especially fun to do when the restaurant is really busy. It's also fun to order large numbers of food inside fast food restaurants. Go to Taco Bell and tell them you want 150 Bean Burritos, make sure you say it loud enough for the people preparing the food to hear you. Then watch their eyes bulge, jaws drop and noses twitch. LOL...then tell them to hold the beans...LMAO...then tell them it's for here and watch them look for the rest of your group...ROFL! [sm=lol.gif]

Ron Olson -> RE: Muffler bearings problem, please help!!! (10/2/2008 6:35:20 AM)

Please don't.
I stopped at a Taco Bell a week ago and somebody inside ordered 35 tacos. Unfortunately I went to the drive-through window just as the person/people inside placed that order. All I could think of that the large line of people behind me thought that I was the one holding them up! I did get 2 orders of Cinnamon Twists plus a free combo meal card for my wait.
A few weeks before that I was in line at a McDonald's drive-through late at night and several vehicles ahead of me had rather large orders, one was a LOT of double-cheeseburgers.

burningpoo -> RE: Muffler bearings problem, please help!!! (10/2/2008 3:13:19 PM)

When they had the 49 or 59 cents for cheese burgers at McD's I found out the u could only order 20 burgers at one shot. It might have something to do with me and 15+ friends trying to get 5 burgers each every week, all in one shot. The best time i went there for a 20 shot of burgers that was for me and 1 other person. The girls jaw dropped when I told her all 20 where only for the 2 of us.....don't try this you'll crack the porcelain later that day....

taco smell hates me too, I show up 15 mins before they close to try and feed a small army...beer and tacos is a great closeing to the night...also its softer on the porcelain

see what u did....now i want taco's...and nachos...

NE1 ever try using taco grease to lube up there muffler bearings...someone told me u can get more air, only if u use namebrand though....

larryf333 -> RE: Muffler bearings problem, please help!!! (10/2/2008 3:25:34 PM)

No, never tried that. I have put blinker fluid in my diffs though. It locked em right up.

Also, try putting the light oil in the shocks, you can get some serious air that way. And the best part is, you can see your truck at night!

Ron Olson -> RE: Muffler bearings problem, please help!!! (10/2/2008 3:32:17 PM)

I hosted an R/C boat fun run here in town and being the coward that I am, I did send my wife down to McD's for 20 double-cheeseburgers once to help feed those who showed up.
We had a record trials event over in Flint so I was one of the few that wasn't there with a boat so my son and I hit a McD's down the road and that time I did get 20 D-C's, .... and one order of fries.

Unstable -> RE: Muffler bearings problem, please help!!! (10/4/2008 12:10:13 AM)

a buddy of mine served in the air force
they would bust on the new guys all the time, but he said one guy got them back..
they sent him out to get some prop wash and he was gone a long time... he later comes back with a 5 gallon pail with "Prop Wash" and a "order number" stenciled on it..
when the guys popped the lid it triggered a switch and turned on the fan he installed in the bucket [:D]
