Isn't that the question we ask all of ourselves when we get 90% done with one project, and start getting turned on by the other one on the shelf. THis is the problem i have been battling with since i entered the hobby. I get head over heals in a project, then find something else that i just must have!!! Just like this American Eagle B-25 i just picked up. Was planning on cutting a ziroli, but i'v never built an American eagle kit b4...i was up for the challange. Started taking inventory and looking over the plans and yes, seems like it will be a challange. Anybody ever built one of these kits b4? If so, i sure could use some insight on a couple of questions that i have so that i stop scratching my head. I'm excited about the project and i think it'll turn out to be a nice kit. My significant other calls me insane, i feel that i'm dedicated. My responce to her is "Honey, i'm insanely dedicated!" Bubs.

Is that trundle bed in the background where you sleep when she's all bent about the fourth plane you've started and not finished? It looks like someone has been cuddling an engine and cowling, he,he.

Maximus, you are right. Instead of having to sleep on the couch at least i still have a matress...plus put a wood door over it and it makes a great extra workbench!!!! This will have to work untill we are moved into a house.
Bad news , you have planeus-envy , very common problem and it can only be solved or controlled with the addition of more difficult planes /kits added on a monthly basis

Evil merlin, I am really curious about your fiberglass FW190 . Can you tell me more about it, who makes it, what plans it is made for, and what size it? I love the looks of the long nose fw190 and after flying the Top Flite 190 I love how they fly.

Jeff, that was the FiberScale Fw 190 D9. Its a little larger than 1/7th scale. Its very good glass work. The foam wings standing up in the first picture go with it. You didn't really get plans with the plane just a detailed instruction manual.
Fiberscale is no longer in buisness.

A buddy of mine has the AE B-25 and its a really nice flying model. It weights in at 39 lbs and is really fast. It has G-38's for power and he had to go to 3 bladed props to slow it down a little.. You do need to plan on adding a couple formers inside the nacelles to give them a little more rigidity... Here is a vid of it flying

Yeah , i was planning on putting G-38's in it...3 bladded props even sound better. Seems like it flys nice according to the video. Who's retracts did he put in...can't seem to get ahold of Robart anymore
