hey guys im new to the rc drag racing and i just bought a new era top fuel dragster its overall length is 39.5" it wheel base is 30" it has a trx.15 on it now with pull start and was wondering what would be a good choice of motor for this it weighs like 3.8lb loaded. cause i have a ofna lx comp with a irc radical 621p and it is crazy fast but not sure if something like that would be good in a dragster any of ya"lls input would be appreciated .

Hey dude... if money is not an option there are some good big blocks around the 350.00 price

the Picco P9
the OS VZR P
the Serpent mega ZX21 DSII race
the Axial
all of the motors ARE non PULLSTART!!! because there are all compotition motors and thats a dragster... if you need help lets talk, I know a little something enough to get you where you want to go

There is only one motor for drag racing and thats the Novarossi 35PLUS21 Murnan modified DRAG MOD. Run it using 65% nitro. If you are really into drag racing you will know its the clutch that wins races

Cheers

are you kidding me???if you ever get your hands on a RB Xeon R you will throw that back in the pile... Bill from Litespeed Enginerring mods...But to each his own...(no harm, just from research) from the manufactures thats if you want to spend the money.
I have 2 and use 55%@ 6% oil in the both of em remember it cause to be fast!!!

is your Xeon RB modded???it has to be the on road R not the boggy Xeon...theres a guy with IMRDA drag took the stock Xeon R and cut a 1.67 out the box non moded...now just think if it was moded like you just said that your 35plus21 is moded I have 2 mods and in a rail it will go a 1.4? BUT to each is own

Mines the RB XenonR moded circuit engine. I used it for the evolva before putting it in the inferno. The good thing about it is that its AAC so no loss of power when it gets hot

Cheers
