Status: offline 		I bought a new in boxFuji 64 ei at the southeastern trade show last week from an individual not a dealer. The engine has never been started, is there any warranty on this engine. Could I send it in to prove it is new and get the warranty started from that date.

Another question, I have read that you cant use an optical kill switch with this ignition. Why

Status: online 		Warranties are not transferable. They are to the original owner only.

An optical kill switch won't work because you need to power the ignition unit directly. You're not killing it via a signal, but by actually cutting the circuit by opening a switch.
