Anyone have one of these? I'm looking to get a new rig and want something flawless.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=120216459680&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=002

Thanks!
Jason

I wouldn't say the Stealth is flawless, but they are very nice.

I have one and it is great. I just got in from running it actually.
As you probably know it will take a lot of money to get it up to par. I have about 600$-650$ all together in mine. But you have to look at it this way, if you were going to either buy or make a tuber depending on where you buy it they can be anywhere from 100-250$ just for the tuber if you want it custom and all. Then you have to buy the axles and electronics and that is going to run you about the same as the Stealth. So if you can afford it up front its a great deal.
It seems to be a great quality kit. The axles will need locked, but other then that the axles are basicly bulletproof, the links are HUGE and the "tuber"(actually a "framer" :P but i'm going to call it a tuber..) is really cool looking as you can see. One thing you have to look for is the shocks will need to be VERY long if you want to do a "droop" setup.

I hope this helped and please ask me anymore questions you may have.
Aaron

Oh, I forgot to add. I got my Stealth from TCS, when they have them back in stock(i bought the last one :P ) you may want to order yours from them as it took 3 days to get mine.. Rather then the week plus that its going to take to get it from Korea.

EDIT:
I just checked and TCS has them back in stock.. They have 4.

C'mon Dez.......tell it like it is ........I personally am now drawn to the 2.2 class and a driveshaft rig.......

The axles are very nice. To wide for a 2.2, the chassis is worthless(for a crawler) and it needs tires.

Hi Buddy, I got one and have it built recently. Tested, not bad, not bad at all. However, U might need to think about what ESC U will be using. U can either choose an ESC with double motor output or single motor output. I'm using the Traxxas / Novak ESC with double motor output, which requires 2 packs of 7.2V battery for working.

I've also put in heavy zinc metal blocks inside the tyres ... so that it can claw better ....

Agreed TRD, Mine looks nothing like that.

But I can say no, I'm not using it for comps.. But for normal crawling, this thing is a beast.
I'm not contradicting you Dez, I know you have a lot of experience under your belt. I'm just saying that its a really fun crawler that I enjoy.

The 7700 will not run on 3s Lipo and to turn big tires through mud you would want something with more torque anyway. A dual 4600 on 4s lipo maybe?

Understand completely, I just live in a "COMP" state of mind! I wouldn't mind having a Stealth for some fun rock crawling.

Thanks for the comments, gents. I actually have about $700.00 to put into a crawler (or whatever else), but I may hold out for a while to make sure that I get the best truck for what I want. I don't do any competition crawling at the moment-just playing, but it would be nice to be able to. Personally, I've always prefered scale, rather than the huge MTs, but I don't have much imagination or ability when it comes to building my own.

Superkyline, yours is made by the same company, but is a different model.

Haha I see, I would also think like that if we actually had some comps around.. lol

Actually that looks to be a Stealth chassis, he just jacked the body up and it makes it look like the Spider. I could be wrong, but I think thats what I'm seeing.

Dear friends, thanks for all the compliments .... The Stealth that I bought has been .... modified a little bit by me The original spec. mentions about a shorter shocks' length but I've used the longest that I could get in market --- The Savage Shocks !! This can really jet up your Stealth and make the whole truck around 1 feet tall. Not a bad looking and in fact many brothers here are right about the Stealth I've got ---- I'm making it looks fun and moves fun ... lots of joy when playing this strange thing
