I used to ride dirt about 6 years ago, Had a Specialized FatBoy 415 ( not a dirt jumper either ) But good to learn on, I was getting really good after a couple years and was being looked at by a few sponsors..I was out at a construction site where the had a nice gravel road that you could get some narley air...Well, Did a few practice runs..figured I could do it... Got some speed up..about 10 feet from the jump..SNAP! chain breaks... Instant stop..ended up doing a front flip with my leg caught in the cross bars....buggerd up my knee and pretty much my whole right leg was munched...tons of nerve damage..still can't feel from my knee down ( all numb )...But the main cause of it was lack of funds to keep the bike in prime running condition and no shin&knee guards! WEAR YOUR GEAR! even a full face mask bro

I do it some in the summer. Not a lot of places to go up here this time of year.
I race BMX and behind the track we have a nice set of jumps that I can't wait to hit.

I run and race a the very cheap 06' DK Rage. I have to rid dirt as I plain suck at street

do a little downhill, which has some fairly gnarly drop off around here, and some jumping, nothing to big, biggest i've done was a 24 foot gap, also race motocross so i guess that counts as dirt jumping..??

That probably the #1 thing I want to do as of now. I just don't have the cash for a bike and gear.
So for now its just BMX...

It's called trails isn't it?

Anyway, I'm too afraid to heights for that. I'm going to start riding street ASAP with a WTP Trust.

I did my fair share of bike jumping back like six years ago. I'm just not really into that stuff anymore, plus I would probably would bust my *** trying it again.
