Its gonna be very hard to hit 80mph with a rs4. The best i can think of is to get some type of high rev .12 im not sure if the 18.TZ will get you there but i do know it has alot of power. If your trying to race a fusion28 your not gonna be able to catch up with it unless you do some serious modding.

With an OS .18TZ engine with a vantage racing exhaust and the tallest gearing ratio you can get ( red clutch gears 19x23 and 41X37 transmission gears ) i think i might of hit 60. might of been more but dont know since i never had a radar gun for it. With the cost of that engine, exhaust, and gearing..... you pushing $250

I'd say just get an OS .18 CVR and find a better aftermarket exhaust and you'll have more speed and power then what you know to do with

Here is the exact one you'll need Link
You also need a rear exhaust header. But with the power output this engine has, changing the gearing will be the best thing you can do (along with getting better tires) to help ad with higher speeds

Its gonna have to be a "O.S. 18TZ(TX)" because this one will have the standard shaft to fit the chassis and has a pull start.

That tsais exhaust wont work unless you find a different exhaust header. If you get the 18TZ engine you'll need a rear exhaust header and i'd try to find a left side exhaust

im working on a rs4 also i have a .18 tz ready to go in, with a 2speed and a o.s .12cvr i hit 44mph as per police radar so to hit 80 your gonna need seriouse gearing changes but that motor should handle it, id like to hit 80 with mine... i need to find a exhaust for my tz first...

For best results try to find a exhaust thats shorter... http://bukupower.com/smallBlock.html

Its the most expensive ($110) exhaust i've ever seen but its the best i have seen also. I have yet to hear someone say anything bad about this exhaust but its also only been on the market for less then a year... i think. But this exhaust system would do wonders matched with an .18TZ

As for a good side exhaust http://www.vantageracing.com/site/v2-products.html
