better watch using the short forms bro. i was warned that this is a family site and typing a short for is the same as typing the whole word/sentence out.lol

and i quote
"Inappropriate/foul language. RCU strives to be a family friendly website where parents can let kids surf the site without being exposed to language such as this. When you type "lm_ao" it is considered the same as if you had typed the actual words out, which is not allowed here on RCU. I politely ask that you refrain from using language such as this in the future"

guess i might be on "moderator watch" soon. lol

no one has jumped any rivers, building or other big stuff yet???????? Redcats are tough little/big cars. thay can handle it. "Go Redcat"

I'm sure your a parent favorite on your block. Next time use adults, atleast their parents won't be able to sue when you miss the take off ramp and shear off part of their face.

Wow, i'd never use a living being to jump over. Talk about a huge lawsuit if the ramp was missed due to a glitch in the radio.

I know that's what I was thinking as more kids lined up! "I hope I hit the ramp!!!"

<----- me after I made it...then I retired for the night!

I'm glad you guys liked the pics!

I'm a parent myself, so you can imagine that I was nervous, but the parents were the ones telling their kids to go lie down!

No worries. The first thing I did was upgrade to a Futaba FASST system. No glitches here!!!

I have a long driveway that ends sorta diagonal to some train tracks. I would LOVE to try this but I just cant afford to. At top speed of around 35ish I think with the right ramp I could jump an AmTrack as it flies by. Would definately have to do the math before trying it. Trouble is, its a one shot deal. Chances are the landing would be pretty rough. But this would be the sweetest jump video of all time. Just wish i had money to burn, I would have already tried it. Iv'e thought most of it out. what kinda ramp, where to put the different camera people, and even the optimum spot for the ramp. If any dealers or Redcat even wants to help fund this project just let me know Would be one hell of a video to show of Redcats on the front page of the official web site! That would sell trucks!!

//Defm

P.S. I honestly think this is very possible and I'm Dieing to try it. Just don't wanna destroy my Avalance

P.P.S Imagine the glory if I landed that shiz!

EDIT-ill get some pics and a video showing the driveway that runs towards the tracks and where the ramp would be and the landing site. If im lucky ill get a vid of the train passing by to.

Ya I don't think the landing would be pretty I see nothing but a heap of plastic and aluminum. Although it would be a sweet video to see. But at your expense I wouldn't try it lol. BUT if you did land and for some unknowen reason you break very little it would be an amazing advertisement for redcat.
