Is anyone out there building this plane, and if so have you gotten any retracts for it? I have had my kit since early June and ordered my retracts then. I still haven't received anything but excuses. Every time I call its the same thing "another week or so-still waiting on a few more parts". Oh yes, in case you don't know, I'm dealing with Robart. Is there anyone else that makes gear for this plane?

Don't know if they make them for your plane but my last two sets have been made by "Sierra" and will now not use anyones else.

Let me know if Sierra will make a set for you. I have had my set of "Robarts" for the Aerocommander in for service since December. Same story as yours. Such poor service I would consider a new pair from Sierra. Jim at Giant Scale Planes who makes this kit has had Robarts on order for several of his kits for 14 months......how in the world does that company survive?

Oh, one more thing. Jim said he is finishing up on a cockpit kit for the Aerocommander. Give him a call if you are interested.

As of May 1, 2008, I have Aero Commander landing gear by Robart in stock.

Thanks,
