Here a couple of us headed out the Dry Lake Bed nestled in the mountains of So Utah.
Planes are GR7 and Kelly F1D. 42% scaled after Reno Racers. Engine Zenoah GT 80 stock running at 165 MPH
Both planes are F1 GT class planes in the USRA World Championship Series Giant Scale Pylon Racing.

Cute? Yes cheap? No Little? No Heavy? Yes.
We remove the spring starters on these Gt engines so we need to get some revolutions going to get the engines magneto to work.

Yep, that's coming from a guy that is used to seeing that kind of stuff and you still managed to gross me out. HAHA!

BTW, great looking airplanes.

The flying site looks like a perfect place to test the gs racers. Nothing to run into. And if you do hit something, no one will see it. <g>
