Have the hurricane and the car ran away twice yesterday and ended up breaking the upper and lower arms on the right. Had fresh brand new batteries in it so it wasn't the batteries and the car was only 15 feet away from me each time it started to run away. Went and got the Futaba 3PM 2.4G radio and guess what. The dang thing ran away twice today also. Whats the problem?

Are you taping your batteries together in the car? If one battery comes loose you will lose control.

Didn't have the problem with the savage today. Ran it for a good 40 minutes and no problem at all. The servo's were going crazy.

Yes the batteries were all tight into the battery box. I can run my savage out in the same place and no problems at all. Neighbor has a Traxss and no problems. My son had his tornado over here a few weeks ago and he didn't have any problems. I was the only one out here today running and it is out of control. Is it the servo's? I already had to replace the steering servo once. I even had a Condor out here and didn't have any problems.

If you used two different controllers and one was a 2.4G radio and it ran away it HAS to be in your batteries. They might be tight in the battery box but the connection in the box (soldered wires) itself might be bad. You NEED to tape them to be safe anyways. I was going to say it was your reciever and the antenna maybe came loose from the solder inside teh reciever but it did it on your 2.4G. Has to be your battery box.

I have a hump pack that I just charged today. I'll put it in and see what happens. Just worried that it is going to go crazy and run off again!!

Well have mom stand with the car, and you walk up to the Tuttles driveway, and see if you lose reception on it.

If all fails check all your wires, because sometimes they screw things on top of them and maybe one is shorting out on the aluminum.

FAILSAFE!!!!!

I was waiting for someone to say that. I am personally thinking about a failsafe myself. I haven't had any issues yet, but I really don't want to have any without having a failsafe.

i was running my ultrawide yesterday and after about 2-3 minues did a speed run and couldnt stop it, i turned into a snowbank and must have hit it at 30 mph. jumped it and ended in the snow. it was a ful ful ful throttle just whinning. put my finger over the exhaust to stop it. got it back to my car took the body off and said, oh Fluck. forgot to put the screw for the throttle servo horn back on after i had adjused it a few days ago and it popped off jamming the throtle arm at full.lmfao

I could understand having a failsafe if I was getting out of range. But only 15 feet away and it takes off!! I know we have probably pushed the limit with the savage, neighbors traxss and my sons tornado and haven't had the problem.
