OK, now I see, I have readed the post too fast: @JBurry and .. that depends complete which engines you will use, see an earlier post : This will depend on the engine you are using. AN OPS 60rear should be the fastest with a lot of thrust balanced full carbon prop but we will have to test that. With a MB40 FAI you can reach the pylon 40 speed, that is really fast, I think 300km or faster. With a Nelson40 FIRE FAI you can reach almost the same speed as above. A Dub Jett 40 FIRE FAI will be a little slower. An OPS 45R will have the same speed or faster than the Jett 40FAI With an OSDF45 it will be fast. With a YS45R it will be a fast sportmodel. A tuned OPS60rear will be the top. Start the Strega with the engine (power) you always use or a little faster and build up the engine and the speed. And you can play with the prop less thrust gives less speed and more thrust gives more speed. But do not use too much thrust or too less thrust because or the model does not fly or you damage the engine or both. Look in the engine specification and try something. If you are not used to fly with a fast engine/ model start with an engine with throttle and not with a venturi. You can shutt off the throttle but a venturi is full power from the beginning to the end. The end can be save on the ground or some inches under the ground. We get a lot of power out off a standard OS32SX with an APC 7x6wide. That works only on a fast speedmodel and not on a trainer with the same engine. I will start the Strega with an OSDF45 because I have that one in stock and the second model will be an OPS 60 rear with a lot of thrust carbon prop. I flew before with a Stinger 40 with a Nelson40 FIRE FAI and that was a lot of speed. Always use a PCM receiver in this kind of models, we had a lot of troubles with a FM receiver.
