Status: offline 		Mold parts painted. Soon I can start with the last part of molding.
The paint has to dry for 24 hours and the plug has to be waxed five times.
Now I can start building the wing and stab and making the building instructions with pictures.

Status: offline 		The belly pan mold has been waxed 5 times and put in a gelcoat.
Tomorrow I will make the first belly pan.
I have started glueing the leading edges and waxing the fuse plug.

Status: offline 		Glueing the leading edge with Elmers white, shaping with a razorblade tool, sanding with a block in the airfoil contour and final fine sanding with a piece of sandpaper 150 gritt pulling on the ends and make the LE with a nice rounding following the airfoil.
Do not make the LE sharp.

Status: offline 		Now I will have to make the routing files for the wing and stab tips und cut the tips.
The middle part of the wingtip is thin plywood and on both sides it is balsa.
More tomorrow.

can you tell us how the wing will be supplied

will it be sheeted with leading edge and tip already glued?

what will be left to do ?

how much is the ops 60 with pipe etc , and does anyone know how it compares to the Jett 60L FIRE engine

I will make a deluxe kit with glued, shaped and sanded leading edge and tips and a basic kit where you can do this yourself.
You will have to glue the wing together, glue in the wingspar, glue in the servo plate. Glue in the firewall, stab and servomount.
The plywood for the wingbolts have to be glued and the bolts for the bellypan has to be mounted. Ailerons are complete ready for use. Glue the cnc controlhorns in the ailerons and elevator. All parts are cnc cut. Price of an OPS can I tell you later.
Difference between Jett and OPS can I not tell you. The wingspar, servo's, ailerons and retracts are cnc cut out of the wing.

Any idea of the cost? This is the 5 port, rear intake, rear exhaust engine, right?

Status: offline 		thanks for posting those engine prices, I too have been following this thread with great interest, the strega looks fantastic, very nice job indeed.. i think one of those OPS speed engines is a "must have" item..

Stab tips 2x 5mm and plywood 0,4mm in the middle:
