I have been told it was faster than the pylon 40 models and they are really fast.
The Beretta is designed for a 21 engine. So with a 40 pylon engine there is no limit.
I heard that even a Beretta flew with an MB 40 that was the fastest model they had ever seen.
Several Beretta's were build with 40 pylon engines.
But you will need enough experience to fly this and steel nerves. I flew with a Stinger 40 with a Nelson 40 FIRE
and that was fast. I do not know if I should fly with a Beretta and a Nelson. You only have full throttle.
I am thinking about building a Shark32SX with a pylon 40 engine.

The first fuselage is ready. Tomorrow the mold can be opened.
First picture is before starting, second picture is before closing the molds:

Glueing the wingspar:
Cut the foam sides with a sharp knife, pul out the foam pieces with a small screwtool and a paintstick.
Sand the sides of the plywood a little so the wingspar goes in easy.

Use a vacuumcleaner to remove all small parts. Fit the wingspar and if satisfied use polyurethane glue for the wingspar. First make the wingspar wet with clean water and dry the spar with a towel. Polyurethane glue hardens with moist. Spread the glue with a paper towel and put in the spar. The glue starts foaming and when dried cut of the outcoming glue with a sharp knife and sand.
When working on the wing or stab use soft foam under the wing for not damaging the wingtips etc.

Mounting the retracts is the same as the wingspar. Cut the foam. Remove the foam parts and clean it.
Fit the three parts sand a little at the corners for right fitting. The cnc router makes no 90 degrees corners on the inside.
Mount the nuts for the retracts and glue with UHU plus. Glue the three parts together with ZAP and later with UHU plus.
Watch the both legs have different depth. The front leg is deeper. So fit is you are not sure before glueing.
Let the UHU plus dry and glue in the whole set with polyurethane glue. Cover the thread of the nuts.
First I will draw the parts, cnc cut the parts, mount all and make the pictures.

Today I had badluck. When opening the mold one site came out and the other side not.
The fairing stayed in the mold after 30 min. It looks like a chemical reaction.
I think I have to make one side of the mold again. First I will make a test of the fairing only on the other side of the mold.
I will keep you informed but it will take some time.

Look,
Try carefully using a heat gun to soften the epoxy and see if you can get it out that way. This has saved me a couple times, lot better than scraping the mold. Might not work but worth a try.

It worked !!!! Thank you very much, you have saved my mold. Now I have to solve another problem, at that spot the surface looks oxidated so I will have to polish that. Do you know the cause ? Heat in a small space? The fairing is very narrow.
I am glad the mold is not destroyed. I am smiling again.

For safety I will test another wax in an old mold. At the moment I am cleaning and polishing the damaged surface.
Before I make a new fuse I will do a test with that part of the fuse or replace that part from the mold and make it new.

Mounting the cnc retract parts.
Cut the foam with a sharp knife and remove one part of the plywood. Make the foam 3mm deeper for sinking the retractpate.
Mount the retract nuts and glue them with UHU plus:

Fit the retractpate made of 3mm plywood. Glue the three parts together with UHU plus and let is dry. Watch the different sizes.
There is a front and a rear side !!
