mpaczyns -> HFD-08RD Problem (3/19/2008 1:54:01 AM)

I a new to the hobby and attempting to build my first Extra 300s. I am having problems with getting the reciever to operate both ailerons. Do each go into a different slot on the reviever, or do I have to mount both in the same slot with some kind of 2 into 1 wire? I can get one to operate great in the channel 5 slot.

Mark

Mark,

It all depends on your transmitter... If it is a multi channel computer radio then it will have mixing to handle the dual ailerons; this is typically the aileron differential or flapperon setting in which you will use channels #1 and another depending on the radio for the second servo. If your radio does not have mixing then you will need to use a Y harness to link the two servos to the aileron channel.

Mike.
