Hey guys, i wanted to start a thread where everyone can show off their 3d plane. Just a thread where you can post pictures, links to videos, comments/opinions about your 3d or aerobatic plane. I will put up some pictures tonight when I'm home from work of mine and hopefully some of you will already have done the same!

(also if you've got any crash pics/videos that would be cool to)

My favorite is my Showtime 4D 90

-OS 120AX (previously a ys110)
-Hitec 5625's (5945 on ruddder)
-Airwild 1-1/2" aluminum arms on everything
-Jr XP6102 and 790 synth PCM receiver
-2700mAH NiMh 6cell battery

Mine is my Park Flyers Geebee 3D. Flown via JR 7202 and lightflightrc micro rx. Second plane, first 3D plane. Performance upgrades consist of a few lengths of packing tape, some ca and the landing gear has been removed to improve inverted flight. I have maybe 10 flights on it so far, its a lot of fun and can sure take a beating. Should be a good stepping stone to my first nitro plane (Phoenix models funstar 3d).

Link to videos and detailed information.

My favorite glow 3d plane is my Somenzini 73" Yak 54. Just over 10.5lbs and is a rocket ship with the YS140 and 30% heli fuel.

Favorite electric is my scratch built EPP foamy. $10 in foam, a bit of hot melt glue and carbon fiber. An easy build and simple to fix. This is my no holds-barred, all out, push way past my limits, try new manuevers, extreme fun airplane. Weighs 16-18 oz (depending on the lipo Im flying with), Precision Aerobatics thrust 20 motor and esc, PA 1000 and 1800mah 3 cell lipos, 4 Futuba digital 9156's, Castle Creations 7 channel receiver.

The guys I fly indoors with are the reason why I built the EPP plane! Great year round flying practice.

Would someone care to explain what the "moass" mods consist of?

Here is what the planes designer said in a different thread...

quote:

ORIGINAL: PaulSwany

The MoAss mod is something my buddy Andy came up with for the Mojo 60... The mod extends the fuse by 3 5/8" and increases the size of the tail feathers and fuse height. Makes the Mojo 60 a more aggressive, agile bird.

The Frenzy great 3D plane. Light plane 8-9lbs. Large wings, light wing loading large contorl surfaces and rudder.
Saito 125
JR DS821's
Spektrum 7000 reciv.
Voltwatch
1500 JR Nicad
16x8 APC.
This plane floats in on landing's making a spot landing would be easy for someone that knows how.
tons and tons of power,
Hover 1/3 -1/2 throttle
KE's are great with just a tad mix 5%
Flat spins look awsume
Does all the 3D manuvers easily. as with any plane some easier than others.
Take offs are smooth and flat no wing rock or lean of anykind right out of box.
Mount equip. the say and where they say and the CG will be pretty dead on. W/125
Just a super flying plane.
Electric: precision aerobatics
Addiction: 480 park
JR 22oz servos
spek. 6100 rec.
2100 TP
11X4.7 APC
