If you go to the knife edge's site and read of the threads.
It'll show you how to make models for Realflight.
You have to convert .3ds files into .3dskex. There's Kex converters on the site.

Evidently some of the Blender people have been working on this. Blender is an open source 3D software.
The guys basically wanted to bypass using a converter. Bascailly they wrote a script so you can export
from Blender as .3dskex. You can download that script. It's posted on that thread. But you must sign in.

Anyway, you might want to research a little bit.
Making a 3d model for games can be a challenge. There's veriouse 3D software out on the market.
Blender being FREE...you can take it for a test ride.lol

You can import models that's built already..then modify them..this way you don't have to start from scratch.
Example..you can import 22 raptor .X files from an FMS model. Import a nitro engine model , props..etc
then add it to the raptor. Then export it as .3ds files...then convert it using the Kex converter to run in Realfight.

It's not as easy as just importing and exporting...you must make changes to the model's faces,...etc. to make them work
in veriouse software engines. Example FMS...use quads and heli-x use tri. And you must makeure the model is facing
in the proper direction for each sim...and makesure you export them in the proper size for each sim.

For realfight..you must put all your image (texture) on one image file and export them as correct type of file...jpg, .bmp, .tag.

so yes..it's possiable. but you gotta learn how to do all of that.

Have you asked about this over at Knife Edge's forums?

Since the Raptor F22 is already in the sim, it ought to be a lot less work for someone who is capable of adding the visual changes.

I just noticed that there are already about 13-14 variants for the Raptor available on KE. You might consider asking the guys who did those mods what it'd take to do the deed.
