Um no........... Actually Nobody was at home when it arrived so the UPS guy left it by the garage with a plastic bag over it. MAN THIS THING IS HUGE! Later tonight Im going to get some gas+oil. Any reconmendations on oil?

hellya -> RE: King Motors Baja Review with pictures (4/29/2008 12:23 AM)

I use 1 gallon coleman and 4 oz penzoil 2 cycle ...I run 33:1 ................not 25:1 thats like 5 oz to a gollon my spark plug didnt like that too much[:D]

You got UPS?? Mine was EMS...yours took 3 weeks .....mine 6 days........ lesson learned dont buy from v-tec[:)]

DarkFire989 -> RE: King Motors Baja Review with pictures (4/29/2008 12:35 AM)

Yeah. They first came to America. Then Shipped from Cali by UPS. Its dumb though because it went from Cali to Seattle Then MA. What is coleman fuel? Shouldnt I just run 91 octane(premium) and should I run 33:1 or 25:1?

hellya -> RE: King Motors Baja Review with pictures (4/29/2008 12:40 AM)

Coleman fuel is camping fuel.

Its avaliable at walmart in the sporting goods .... it doesn't give off the smell of gas and oil mix..... you know the weedeater exhaust smell.

My vehicle can sit in my beroom and no smell and the old lady doesn't b i t c h [:D]

If you use coleman your parents wont make you keep the smelly vehicle in the garage[sm=thumbup.gif]

DarkFire989 -> RE: King Motors Baja Review with pictures (4/29/2008 1:06 AM)

Alright. I'll look for coleman, if i cant find it ill just go to the gas station and get premium.

OK Guys heres a good hop up for cheap.....15-20 mins work.

Take the exhaust tube off the stock exhaust can (just this alone will help your low end improve)....

remove the stock can... inside the can is wire mesh.... remove the wire mesh.

under the wire mesh is stuffing used to muffle the can remove everything and reinstall the can..... you will see a nice power difference[sm=thumbup.gif]

DarkFire989 -> RE: King Motors Baja Review with pictures (4/29/2008 11:06 PM)

Well I just noticed something bad today. Do NOT put this on wooden table when its brand new! It will ruin the finish! I left it on my wooden kitchen table and I just noticed today that it stained the wood from the rubber + oil resedue from the tires. So no i have dots on the table the match the front and rear tires. How can i get this off?[:o]

I dont think it could take it off because it has sinked into the grain of the wood. My mom was kinda upset, but she knows I didnt mean to. Oh well. TIME TO START THIS THING!

So how did it start? I am very impressed. I ordered my badlands from tower hobbies on Monday. They shipped them on tuesday. I got them today. Wow! UPS is the ****.

So far only taken off one tire and foam. No problems as of yet. Came off pretty easy. These foams are huge. Bigger than I thought.

DarkFire989 -> RE: King Motors Baja Review with pictures (5/1/2008 2:01 AM)

Started up in like 4 pulls. Runs great! Still needs a bit of tuning on the high end. I love it.[:D]

That is so difficult. But some how I managed 3 tanks.
Anyway, I finished putting them on and man do those things look beefy. I need to buy some tarmac busters soon though so I don't wear these out so fast. Well it went very smoothly getting put on. I had only on problem and that was with the tires. There were little rubber left overs that were not cut out where the screw hole slips in the middle of. I just took a razor and fixed it real quick. No problem.

I think that may be my next buy them my ESP 30.5 head kit. But I may go lower. It may be a little overkill but whatever.

On the side note: When I was taking engine out (replace the spark wire) I noticed the front bumper was borken in about 3 places. Don't know when or where it occurred but it is there.

Spark plug wire: How am I supposed to connect this to the electronic mechanism? I can't take it apart so the last thing I can think of is cut the wire and mesh them together than soldier. Last thing how much space is between the magnets and the flywheel? Using a thickness gauge of course.

hellya -> RE: King Motors Baja Review with pictures (5/2/2008 7:06 AM)
