airjawed -> Logictech 2100 gyro is really nice (3/19/2008 8:03:49 PM)

Just put in the Logictech 2100 gyro... works great... took a little bit to configure it since it does have more options and the instructions aren't the greatest...but once you figure it out!!! It is working better than the 401 and the 500T I had on before... I've got the 450 se new V2 with the Mavrikk tail belt... and I'm using the blade 400 belt tensioner(fits right in and has a grove for the belt)... I've got JR 285's for collective and JR 3400G for the tail...using the round horn with the in-between holes... according to the gyro my gains are 91-100 for hovering and 71-80 for stunt mode... my DX6i reads as 80 and 75... these numbers are higher than with the other gyros i've used... I've got the rotate rate set to the highest... at first I thought that it was creating some bounce...checked the belt too since a loose belt can cause bounce... realized though that the bounce was just the gyro reading the rudder stick bouncing when I let it go... the only other pain is that the gyro is mounted under the boom... can't see the lights and have to pick up heli to make changes to gyro.. but once it is set up it is a great gyro!!! I love it!! This is the way a heli is suppose to fly... Stable and smooth in every way...

Would love any questions comments or suggestions!!

i have 2 of those gyros on 2 different 450,s and love them. its funney you get a wag or a bounce everyone blames the poor old 2100t but its really a good gyro

Yes, they are the bomb ... I love mine and that is for sure!

Great gyro for sure!! Moved it to directly under the main shaft on the main frame... no interference issues at all... now I can see the lights and adjust it really easy... plus the gyro is now in line with how the heli rotates and does not have to deal with lateral movements and vibrations...

If you haven't yet you have to get the Mavrikk tail belt.... it is a huge improvement... makes the tail spin smooth!!!

I will definitely be getting the Mavrikk belt, I would put my gyro in the same location, except it's too close to my motor and ESC.

I'll have to agree also! Its a very good gyro and cheaper than the GY401!

Hello, I just got a NIB 2100 at a swap,($40,but no manual!) Where can I get a manual?

rcmiket -> RE: Logictech 2100 gyro is really nice (5/17/2008 9:31:46 PM)

I tossed a 2100T on the Emart ( close to a T Rex 600) to see how it would hold its doing a great job. I'm giving thought to replacing my 401's with the 2100's. Great gyro for 104 bucks. Mike

The manual is weak at best here's all the set info you need. Mike

I'm glad to read this. I just ordered one from ka-planes. It's going on my T-rex 450SA and the Align is going on some other heli. Thanks for the link rcmiket. I also saw a pictoral set-up guide on one of these forums but forget where at the moment.

I have the Hitec version of the Logictech that I don't need anymore here:
