Status: offline 		Hi guys im thinking of buying the new JR dsx9. And i will be uprgrading from a JR 9x.
Now my question is, MY 9x is one of the first ones that came out few yrs ago Its not the V2. Now i was wondering if i can STILL copy all of my model planes to the new Tranmitter ( dsx9 )

Status: offline 		Unfortunately the answer is no, it won't work as the DSX9 is based on the 9XII and there is no compatibility between the 2.

I have just tested it out to confirm my initial thoughts, you will get a "Tx Mismatch " error appearing in the Receive Transfer screen.

Status: offline 		Fraid so, unless you know anyone near you that has a DataXchange system.

This will save & backup your model memories from a 9X, convert them to the 9XII format which is transferable to the DSX9 system.

Status: offline 		No, that just transfers data from the radio to the PC, allows for editing and reload back to the radio, DataXchange was developed with JR's co-operation by MacGregor Industries.

They dont make this any more. i rang them up and it has been replaced with this one

Status: offline 		That one you linked to is made by JR, the one I linked to is made by Rotarsoft for MacGregor Industries and as far as I am aware, it is still a valid product.

ROT00100 is the Part Number from MacGregors and was a live & valid item as of the 14th March and also is in stock !
